RAVENNA
RAVENNA is a professional audio-over-IP technology using RTP media, PTP timing and stream descriptions. Select the operating profile and compatible formats, including AES67 or ST 2110 where implemented.

Infrastructure Requirements
- IEEE 1588-2008 PTPv2 clock plan
- explicit PTP profile/domain/grandmaster policy
- managed IP switching/routing with preserved DSCP
- multicast/IGMP policy where multicast streams are used
- RTSP / SDP or selected connection-management workflow
- DNS-SD / mDNS, administered DNS, SAP bridge, NMOS, or vendor orchestration as appropriate
- endpoint proof for the required RAVENNA/AES67/ST 2110 profile

Gotchas & IT Notes
- ⚠Check exact media profile, format, packet time and firmware interoperability. Select discovery/orchestration services only where implemented.
- ⚠IGMP snooping and a querier are typical switched multicast design measures; clocking and routing must follow the selected profile.
